How it works

Three steps to your first push

STEP 01

Install the recipe

One click in Studio gives you a personal webhook URL.

STEP 02

Paste your URL into Netlify

Add it as a webhook for Form submission.

STEP 03

Get a push on your phone

With the text, sound and buttons from the recipe.

Setup

How to set up the Netlify form submission webhook

  1. Click Install in Studio and sign in. The recipe is added to your account and you get a personal webhook URL.
  2. Follow the setup notes below: Netlify has separate notification screens for deploys and forms.
  3. Add an HTTP POST request notification with your webhook URL as the URL.https://••••••••/•••••••• your personal URL, shown after install
  4. Save.
  5. In Netlify, open the site's **Forms → Form notifications → Add notification → HTTP POST request**, choose one form or all forms, and paste the URL above. Only verified (non-spam) submissions are sent.
  6. The submission fields shown are the name, email and message; Netlify's webhook body isn't fully documented, so if your form uses different field names the push falls back to "Someone".
  7. Netlify can sign notifications with a JWS secret (`X-Webhook-Signature`), but JustPush doesn't check it yet, so keep your endpoint URL private.
The code

What runs when the webhook arrives

Studio calls handleRequest(request) with the incoming webhook and sends the message it returns. It's yours after install; change anything.

transform.js
1// Netlify → form submission
